Traditional Art Series - Candle Making

Learn the time-honored traditions of candle making! In our two and a half-hour course we will focus on the traditional arts of dip candle making and a mold jar method.
Get creative using colors and fragrances! Makes a wonderful holiday gift! All materials provided. Kids are welcome with prior approval from RBR staff.
WHAT TO BRING: Please carpool to Rock Bottom Ranch if possible. Bring a snack and drink to get you through to 8pm, wear appropriate clothing that can get dirty (soap, candle making, wool-dyeing).
HOW TO GET THERE: Please walk, bike, or ride your horse down Rio Grande trail right up to the ranch - it's not only fun.
It saves the planet! Every time you come to RBR in something other than your own car (carpool works, too) you will receive a sticker to place on our Community Bike Board. At the end of the season we will give away day-long to week-long classes (to be used in the summer of 2010) to the most dedicated alternative transportation users! Be creative - make it a family challenge!
