How does the candle work?

Modern microelectronic technology allows the candle to emit a rainbow of constantly changing colours throughout the interior of the candle without dangerous, toxic dyes, chemicals or paints.

The clever power scource is an environmentally friendly LED battery that can power the candle for more than 25 hours, see each individual candle for burning times.

How can I get the best results from my Colour changing candle?

1. If the candle does not change colour immediately after lighting allow some time for the flame to burn away some of the wax surrounding the wick.

2. if a large pool of wax develops it may cause the candle to stop changing colour. If this occurs extinguish the flame and allow to cool before carefully removing the molten wax away from the wick.

3. For best results the flame needs to be between 15mm and 20mm in length, and the wick needs to be at least 10mm in length.

4. If candle smokes, extinguish, allow to cool and trim wick to 5mm.

5. The candle may not change colour if placed in a drafty position where the flame may flicker, simply check for drafts and move the candle to a more suitable position.

6. Do not place candle in direct sunlight.

7. After the candle has been used for the first time, please store back in the box or in a cool, dark place away from sunlight to maximise the battery life.

Follow these hints for a safe, enjoyable experience:

    * Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets at all times.
    * When in use, ensure the candle holder is placed on a flat, heat resistant surface away from flammable materials.
    * To avoid rapid burning and excess dripping ensure that candles are positioned well apart, and away from draughts and air conditioning.
    * Never burn the candle right down to the base.
    * Never touch or move candles while burning.
    * Never leave burning candles unattended.
    * To ensure optimum battery life, store the candle in a dark place.
    * When the wick becomes blackened it may affect the colour changing operation. If this occurs try trimming the wick.
