If you are experiencing turmoil and difficulty in your life, a candle ritual can be a great help, writes Janet McGhee of All4Women. Burn a candle opposite where you sleep In addition to an altar, light a candle opposite to where you sleep. When you wake during the night with anxiety, you can look across at your candle and know that your problems are being handled by a higher power (your angels). Use your intuition when choosing a candle colour (refer to reference list attached or simply go with white!).
Before lighting your candle for the night say a prayer Ask for divine intervention – you will know what to say – and go to sleep. You need sleep when going through difficult times. You can also perform this ritual on behalf of others you know who are going through pain and sorrow. Spiritual meaning of candles
Illumination, creative inspiration, optimistic outcome, Light of the Divine, universal symbol of light and the connection to Great Spirit, you are touching the Great Light within all things, the spiritual life force within you, your true inner light.
